BR - RESOLUTION OF WITHDRAWAL DOMESTIC (KANSAS) AND FOREIGN (NON-KANSAS) BUSINESS TRUST. This form is used by a business trust to formally withdraw its authority to transact business in the state of Kansas. It is required when a business trust, either domestic or foreign, wishes to cease its operations in Kansas. The document must include a certified copy of the resolution adopted by the business trust's trustees declaring their intention to withdraw. The business must be in good standing or registered with the Kansas Secretary of State, as businesses in forfeited status must first be reinstated before filing the withdrawal. Once filed, the resolution will be processed, and a certified copy will be mailed to the submitting party. The form must be signed by an authorized person on behalf of the business trust.
