Description

CC-DR-035 - WORKSHEET B - CHILD SUPPORT OBLIGATION: SHARED PHYSICAL CUSTODY (Md. Rule 9-206(d)). This form is used in the Maryland Circuit Court to calculate child support obligations in cases where both parents share physical custody of their children. This worksheet is required under Maryland Rule 9-206(d) and is used when each parent has the child(ren) for at least 92 overnights per year. The form collects detailed financial information from both parents, including each parent's monthly actual income before taxes, adjustments for existing child support or alimony obligations, and any alimony awarded in the current case. Based on this data, the form calculates each parent’s adjusted income, their share of the combined income, and determines the total child support obligation using the Maryland Child Support Guidelines. The worksheet also accounts for how many overnights each parent has with the children and adjusts the support obligation accordingly, depending on the percentage of custody. If applicable, it includes a Shared Physical Custody Adjustment based on the exact number of overnights. Additional expenses—such as child care, health insurance, extraordinary medical costs, and educational expenses—are also factored in. If these expenses are shared unequally between parents, Worksheet C is used to make further adjustments. www.FormsWorkflow.com
