JD-1770 - SHORT TERM DETENTION – PENDING INVESTIGATION / AS A CONSEQUENCE. This form is used in the State of Wisconsin Circuit Court to document and authorize the short-term detention of a juvenile who is currently under a dispositional order. It may be used when the juvenile is suspected of violating conditions of their dispositional or aftercare order, or when crisis intervention is needed during an intensive supervision program. The form allows for detention pending investigation of a possible violation, detention as a direct consequence of a known violation, or placement for crisis intervention. It specifies whether the juvenile is to be held in secure or non-secure custody, the facility involved, and transportation details.
