CV\E-120 - AMENDMENT TO COMPLAINT. This form is used in the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento. It allows for the correction of errors in the original complaint by either replacing a fictitious name with the true name of a defendant or correcting an incorrect name. The form provides options for the type of correction needed: Fictitious Name: If the plaintiff did not know the true name of a defendant at the time of filing the complaint and designated the defendant with a fictitious name, they can now amend the complaint by inserting the true name in place of the fictitious name.
