L-937 - NOTICE OF HEARING TO NON-PETITIONING PARENT. This form is used in Orange County name change cases involving a minor child. This form provides notice to a parent who did not file the petition for change of name, advising them of the hearing date, time, and location. Issued pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure § 1277(a), it informs the non-petitioning parent of their right to file written objections at least two court days before the hearing and to appear in court to contest the request.
