CRIM 016D - COUNSEL’S DECLARATION (Death Penalty Case). This is a Los Angeles Superior Court form used in capital cases to comply with California Rules of Court, rule 8.613(f) and (g). This declaration confirms that counsel has reviewed the transcripts of the preliminary proceedings and performed the tasks required by California Rules of Court, rule 8.613(f), or another person under their supervision has performed these tasks pursuant to California Rules of Court, rule 8.613(g)(1). Counsel must indicate whether no corrections are requested, whether corrections or additions to the reporter’s transcript or court file are sought (with attachment), or whether an extension of time is requested (with supporting affidavit under rule 8.613(k)).
