L-1203 - REQUEST FOR DISMISSAL (SMALL CLAIMS). This is an Orange County Superior Court form used to voluntarily dismiss a small claims case or specific claims within a case. The form allows a plaintiff or defendant to request dismissal of the entire action, only the plaintiff’s claim, or only the defendant’s claim. Parties may also specify whether the dismissal is “with prejudice,” preventing the claim from being filed again, or “without prejudice,” allowing future refiling of the same claim.
